Christmas is almost here!!!
Holy Moly--I'm 25 weeks pregnant today! I cannot believe there are only 15 weeks left to go. We have been super busy around the house and with church and work so I haven't posted much and I'll try to take some more pictures soon-at least there will be more after Christmas--I'm sure there will be lots of photo opps!
This weekend will be a crunch to get all the rest of my shopping done, finish my Christmas cards (my hand started hurting last night so I took a break), and baking more goodies...I still need to make Bryan some Texas Trash--ooh that will be good for New Years Eve.
I'm bummed I'm going to miss out of my dad's delicious Egg Nog Martinis this year, I'll just settle for sparkling cider and not have to worry about how much I'm drinking.
No names yet--we'll figure it soon and I'll let you guys know. Its not going to be a secret, but for some reason I'm just not comfortable saying any names out loud yet--once I start doing that I'll let everyone know.
I hope everyone has a great weekend and a wonderful time with your families over the next week. I love this time of year and am going to be sad when it all passes away. Remember to thank our God, who sent His Son into the world to save us from ourselves. We cannot get so focused on gifts and spending or even our families - Jesus was born and the miracle of God's love began to take place in the flesh. I am so amazed at His grace and love and forgiveness and I often forget to sit and rest in God's peace, especially during this time. Thank you God for sending your Son, Jesus, to die in my place so that I could spend eternity with you. I love you!
